Noosa is a wonderful place to live with many beautiful natural assets, but the jewel in the crown is the Noosa headland. I am a regular on the coastal walk to Hells Gate and am once again finding inspiration from the sandstone cliffs and the ocean blue.
The Noosa Coastal walk is truly spectacular and is a constant source of inspiration. It is best experienced in the early morning, in that golden hour state, where the rising sun interacts with the ocean waves, creating everchanging shades of blue and green.
This regular experience is finding its way back into my studio. I am exploring different shades of blue and the contrast between the ocean and the ochre tones of the sandy beaches. Strangely enough, the experience is also an audible one, as the sounds of the ocean waves seem to be irreversibly connected to their form.
I am not 100% sure where this direction will lead me but as always, I am looking forward to the journey ahead.
